A song! Yes, there are people out there who are clever enough to make just about anything into a song. This teacher has, as of the day I'm writing this, 110 videos that he put together for his 6th grade class. He puts science lyrics to the tunes of popular songs. You won't be seeing all 110 videos in this class, but there will be quite a few. This first one is on the parts of the microscope.
Another song! This one is from a band called They Might Be Giants. They have an entire CD of science songs and videos, in case you're looking for ideas for Christmas presents for your favorite geek or nerd. This song is about the scientific method.
And another .... um .... song? This is a little odd ....
Next up is a two part video about Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis and his work on investigating the relationship between hand washing and death rates. It seems so logical to us now, but it certainly didn't seem logical back then.
